So it has been a little over a month and it's time for an update. To be honest I have no idea what I have and have not completed. I have been mindful of the list and working to complete it, so this is my way of tracking the progress...
- Be-friend a stranger
- Re-connect with old friends: In-progress! I have enjoyed talking to friends I have lost touch with the past year. It has reminded me how important they are. In my attempt to just get through the days I stopped calling them back. I have realized I have some awesome friends that just kept calling and for that I want to tell them thank you. You are truly God sent and I love you dearly. This task, however, is still in progress. There is at least one person I really owe a phone call! I have also re-connected with a few individuals from my past that was completely unexpected.
- Make new friends
- Go out on my own
- Read to Brylee: Complete! And she holds me to it.
- Leave the past behind
- Go back to church: In progress! This past week our church opened the new sanctuary... It was amazing to see the rewards of all the hard work put into it. I love my church home and every time I go I remember why I am there.
- Visit Nana more
- Get rid of what I don't need
- Take a road trip
- See something beautiful
- Learn something new
- Take pictures
- Make a new playlist: In progress! My current favorite would have to be Kenny "Somewhere With You"
- Do something kind for someone I don't know: Complete!
- Eat sushi: Complete! Honestly I don't know what all I ate. Some were great and others, not so much. These were my favorite two…Texas Ranger Roll (spicy salmon, fried jalapeno, cream cheese, tempura shrimp, masago, spicy mayo, unagi "eel" sauce and wasabi mayo) Tyler, TX Roll (Shrimp tempura, cream cheese & jalapeƱo, crab mix, salmon, spicy mayo, unagi sauce, chirachi, tempura flakes, scallions & masago)
- Plan a date with myself
- Drive a really cool car
- Send something I have written for publication
- Do something I am afraid of: In-Progress! It’s planned. More details if I don’t die!
- Visit a state I have never been to: In-Progress! Also in the plans for Spring Break.
- Go to a casino
- Apologize to someone from my past
- Trim the fat
- Do something I would rarely do
- Stand in the grass
- Complete this list
- Save mementos of this journey
